PALM SPRINGS AERIAL TRAMWAY
The world’s largest rotating tram car—travels over two-and-one-half miles along the breathtaking cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting riders to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. During your approximately ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering picturesque and spectacular vistas of the valley floor below.
INDIAN CANYONS TRAILS
The Indian Canyons features more than 60 miles of hiking and walking trails. Easy, Moderate, and Strenuous trail types. This group of canyons also offers horseback riding, plus picnic areas & a gift shop.
This is a literal man-made mountain 28 years in the making, covered in half a million gallons of latex paint. What started as a small monument made of dirt and painted cement became, over time, a sprawling adobe and hay-bale mountain complex, with peripheral structures made of telephone poles, tires, and car windows, as well as art cars and sculptures, all painted in a patchwork of stripes and color blocks of whatever paint was donated that week.
DESERT HILLS PREMIUM OUTLETS
Home to the largest collection of luxury outlets in California. The outdoor shopping center features 180 designer stores including Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Coach, Michael Kors, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Saint Laurent Paris and Tom Ford. There are several dining options at Desert Hills Premium Outlets® such as Blaze Pizza, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, and Jody Maroni's Sausage Kingdom.
PALM SPRINGS ART MUSEUM
Founded in 1938, the Palm Springs Art Museum (formerly the Palm Springs Desert Museum) is the largest cultural institution in the Coachella Valley, featuring compelling art exhibitions, a vast permanent collection, and the 433-seat Annenberg Theater, all in a 150,000 square foot, architecturally-significant building.
